Sam Patten is a folk singer, bouzouki player and song writer from the town of Bridgwater in Somerset.
He grew up listening to a variety of different folk genres through his dad Dom, a singer & songwriter himself who also played in dance bands. Sam inherited his father’s love of traditional folk songs and tunes and developed his own upbeat style.
With songs inspired by his local area of Somerset, as well as taking on tales from the wider British Isles, hopefully there is something for all folk lovers to enjoy.
Having performed throughout the South West and established himself as an artist in his own right, Sam has now joined forces with Alex and Sarah to form the new Folk Trio Arquebus.
They all play in the famous Somerset Barn Dance Band, Hobson’s Choice.
